Bill Tyre, Executive Director and Curator of Glessner House, will share with us the latest events, activities, and immersive experiences hosted by and available at the Glessner House. The Glessner House, completed in Chicago‘s Prairie District in 1887, is a National Historic Landmark.

Students from De La Salle High School will present on their efforts to support Note Karacel. Each year, students from this Chicago high school support a young women in her education efforts through Note Karacel "Unite Together" a non-profit organization based in Alenga, Uganda. Hear how they are raising money and awareness for this cause.

Our friends at the St. James Peace and Justice Committee are hosting the First Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Dearborn Homes, a Chicago Housing Administration (CHA) property from 11am to 1pm. Events include egg hunting, games, and a visit with the Easter Bunny. This event for children ages 3-10 is free to all participants.

Volunteers are needed for all aspects of the event including egg hiding, assisting families during the event, clean-up, assisting with games etc...

Some of the children participating have never before heard of an Easter Egg Hunt, so make it fun!
